Bray Key Holding is geared to give immediate response to alarm activation’s 24 hours per day. Our objective is geared to give immediate response within the time allowed within the police ACPO policy.
No employer (including yourself) could categorically vouch for the total honesty of any employee. Temptation is a strange thing. Have you considered how many private telephone calls staff make or how many reams of paper, envelopes and boxes of paperclips go missing in one year? It is ALL theft of a kind !
Within the communications centre here is a separate area for Bray Key Holding. Access to this area is restricted to authorised staff and has monitored door entry. Before leaving your premises your keys will be placed on an individually numbered tamper proof seal which will be closed in your presence. This means that keys cannot be taken off as with a normal key ring. In the Key holding area keys are stored in a steel cabinet which is fitted with an alarm so that access can be monitored. Inside the cabinet, keys are secured to their hook with a numbered paddle seal. Each time the keys are required they are logged out and then resealed when returned. The need to removed the keys is confirmed by the attending officers written report and substantiated bythe monitoring station alarm activation report. Regular checks are made to ensure seals are intact and the paddle seal number matches its last entry in the logbook.
All information about your company is stored on a secure database and can only be accessed by authorised staff. The limited amount of information that an attending Bray Key Holding officer will need to carry out his duties which relates to access and alarm codes will be in a coded format. As we always use a separate user code number, we ensure that these are changed if a member of staff leaves. This means that if this information were passed to a third party it would be of no use.
A Bray Key Holding officer will always leave an attendance note that clearly shows the time of activation, the time of arrival, and the time of departure. In addition there is also the monitoring stations record of opening and closing signals. Bray Key Holding can use a system of electronic bar coding. A tag is placed at the entry to the premises and is swiped on arrival and departure. In addition to this other tags can be placed in different locations so that the search of the premises can be proven to have been through. The recording unit is tamper proof and therefore times cannot be altered.
Bray Key Holding’s role is non-confrontational, as this is the domain of the police. If intruders were assumed to be on the premises the police would be notified if they were not already in attendance.
Bray Key Holding has partners locally who can repair, replace locks in an emergency 24/7. Similarly we have Boarding and Glazing specialists who we have used for many years. Or you may wish to introduce us to your preferred supplier of these services.
