The Company objective is to provide response to any alarm activation within the time set by the current guidelines. Response cannot be guaranteed within this time frame but response is assured. Any activation of a system will be considered as a confirmed signal unless the call is reported as site open or communications failure. However, communications failure will still be treated as a possible tamper and not receive any less priority. The attending key holding officer will, subject to the instructions given by the client, take such actions as deemed necessary at the time and will remain on site to ensure that the premises will be reasonable secure before leaving the premises.
Where visual confirmation of a possible intruder or suspicious incident is reported a key holding officer will respond and treat the incident as a confirmed call out.
Periodic visits are offered to clients as a means of visual deterrent. Visits are scheduled on a random basis and are not guaranteed within any particular time as operational necessities may prevent a response officerfrom attending because of an alarm activation. Wherever possible a time window should be sought to ensure that the randomness of the service can be maintained.
At certain times the Company may be asked to provide a keyholder escort service. The object of this being that lone member of staff does not enter a premises unescorted. This has two major benefits to the client. In the first instance a member of staff located at the premises is not left unprotected and secondary that persons that would normally not have access to the building (service personnel, outside contractors) are able to gain access. Any staff access would be subject to the instructions given by the client (site contract) and confirmation of the authority to give access to any unknown personnel.
Many companies will also have scheduled maintenance visits by outside contractors and Bray Key Holding will provide the access as required given the correct authorisation to do so.
Bray Key Holding also offer an opening closing service. Within a given time window the company will attend a premises to unset alarms for incoming staff and return at the end of the day to re-secure. This will ideally be carried out on premises that have access control as the attending officer will not need to remain on site until the first or nominated member of staff arrives.
