
A two day classroom training followed by practical on-site training at a location of a similar nature to the one for which recruited.
Classroom training includes:-
A self teach pack, requiring approximately 50 hours of private study, is used. In conjunction with the knowledge acquired on induction and continuation training courses, completion of this syllabus should lead to a City and Guilds qualification in security guarding.
An important part of the Bray Key Holding Training is CUSTOMER CARE and this is introduced and emphasised during a Security Guards initial training at a Regional Office.
It is emphasised to all staff the importance of a polite, helpful and diplomatic approach to clients, their customers and staff.
A Security Guard must have a sound knowledge of the location to which he is assigned with particular regard to entrances, facilities, fire exits, alarm panels etc. He must be fully aware of location Policies and Procedures and have a Knowledge of the local area amenities.
