Operational Standards

SUPERVISION

Each Security Guard is regularly visited at their duty location by mobile supervisors each controlling a number of locations in any Operational area. Managers also visit each location not only to monitor the performance of staff but for regular liaison visits with customers.

COMMUNICATIONS

Supervisory staff remain in contact with the control room by the use of cellular telephones and two way radio's.

PROBATIONERY REPORTS

During the Security Guards thirteen week probationary period, reports are completed by visiting Supervisors at two, four and eleven weeks. At the completion of probation Security Guards are assessed and if found satisfactory then their full time employment is confirmed in writing.

WELFARE

Visiting Supervisors complete Welfare Reports on all location staff and items of concern are brought to the attention of the Operations Manager. We have found that regular contact with Guarding staff, particularly in the earlier stages of their employment ensures that we are able to focus on the issues that are important to an individual. By taking early remedial action we are able to diffuse potential problems and this is turn results in a stable and contented workforce benefiting our Clients and minimizing labour turnover.
